If you'll notice the time that I am writing this, it is past 1:31 in the morning, since I have to work tomorrow that means that I went to sleep about an hour ago. But take a guess at who just called my cell phone. Oh, that's right my boss. First of all, annoying that any employer would call me past 1 am as it woke me up. Secondly, I answered the phone b/c the ID was unknown and therefore it was possibly important and not my boss. I would have never answered if I knew she was calling. Who does that? And no, I do not care that she is in Berlin right now, it's not that hard to do time math. And really, it would be one thing if we were doctors and someone's life was on the line or maybe even if we were botanists and she just discovered a plant that could be linked by some stupid science crap to the garden of Eden. But no, you know what business I'm in? The self-important, money-obsessed, film industry. No one dies if films don't get made, in fact watch the chariot race in Ben Hur (the non-remastered version) and it appears that fewer people die when films don't get made. Yes, I realize I just lost more sleep by posting this, but I'm so mad I had to vent or I would never get back to sleep. I have no desire to be at anyone's beck and call at all hours of the day, I think it's ridiculous, especially for something like film. Don't get me wrong, I love film, but there is so much more to life. Gasp!

What exactly is it that you do? That's a question.
Another question is why were the words "damn" and "Yellow" juxtaposed in reference to Coldplay. Why, why, why? That's a comment that would leave the average camel humpless.
Ronnie, I think the point is that if you can even consider Snow Patrol (a talented band) on your "potential" list, Coldplay (an excellent band) deserves much more of a chance.
Galen, awesome for bringing camels into the hump discussion, that's actually not somewhere we've gone with this. These kids all have their minds in the gutter. To answer your question, I am currently a producer's assistant. I am in a temporary position right now & looking for something permanent. Eventually I want to produce films, tell good stories, stories about India, etc. If you have more questions, feel free to ask. Since you so often grace us with your presence here, perhaps you would like to tell us more about yourself, perhaps start with what you are studying.
And Ronnie, don't watch MTV, it will rot your brain. The occasional VH1 is okay if Fresh New Music or Best Week Ever is on, otherwise watch something educational. They still show Reading Rainbow, that show still rules.
That being said, I do kinda enjoy Cribs. Forgive me.
Do you think that when you become a producer and tell stories about India, you'll remember a few humble requests I make now? Because I have a couple of requests. 1.) Will you tell the tales of Kipling? 2.) Will you tell stories of India that your great-great-grandmother would have told you had she a voice to tell you now? 3.) Will you please never be cliche?
I have a crush on stories about India and I'd love to watch yours.
About me:
I'm studying philosophy and culture and leadership and literature and writing and language at college. I could have simply said, "People," but that's often misunderstood.
Oh and yes, props to blogger for the new comment thingie.
Your studies sound very interesting. What do you hope to do with them? What languages have you studied? I love languages & look forward to getting back into studying them again.
Raj, chlamydia, good one. Shame on you for watching Cribs, though.
Ronnie, please do not take anything we say here too seriously. Coldplay didn't make my top ten list, nor will they ever. I like them, but there are other bands I like more. The great thing about music is that you can always be wrong about it. Wait, I mean the great thing is that different people have different tastes and that offers you the opportunity to hear bands you may not have heard before someone you meets introduces you to them. If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure there are bands on my list that Raj disagrees with and has probably considered shunning me for putting them above Coldplay.
