A sad day for baseball indeed. Johnny Damon is leaving the Boston Red Sox for the stupid New York Yankees. THE YANKEES. Who does that?!!?!?! And look what he did to this guy.


So very uncool. I have a sad feeling that this is not going to be a good year for Boston. :\ Regardless, I'm taking my youngest brother to see Boston play the LA Angels in August. Let me know if you want to come, I'm buying tickets kinda soon. Woo!

I'm sorry to say, I've never much liked Johnny Damon...so I'm not really surprised. I'm sad for all the BoSox fans. And I'm sorry that Johnny Damon turned out to be no different than all of the other athletes who are driven by money... (especially since the Yankees did nothing last season!) At least Pedro only went to the Mets!

It's not as much about Johnny Damon, it's more about a complete betrayal. I mean I think leaving Boston is crazy anyway, but to leave for their arch nemesis is pretty much the worst move ever as far as I'm concerned.

Dave I'm not sure how much I want to venture to Anaheim, but for the Red Sox it's definitely worth it. I think if I just want to see a random game I'll head to Dodger Stadium.
