Sorry for the lack of updating, between being sick & a million things going on in life & in my head it's been a bit crazy over here. The subject of dating has been in the air quite a bit lately, as it tends to be among the single twentysomethings crowd, so I've decided to start what we'll call a supplemental blog to post about and discuss that topic. It should be filled with all the humor & wonder you've come to love here, the topics will just be slightly less random. If it's not a subject that interests you, feel free to stick to the good ole blog here. You won't hurt my feelings. Really. Have a wonderful week! I promise to grace you more frequently with my presence in the near days. :)
I hope your rambles have been sweet and your reveries spacious. - Emily Dickinson

Hope you are feeling better!!!!
what about everything else? I think we'll date sooner if we focus on everything else, sort of like how UPS always shows up when you're in the bathroom. We'll meet someone worth marrying while we're busy doing what we love to do. So let's go do that. Dating will worry about itself.
I think Galen is using the "watched pot never boils" theory here, but just to debunk the myth, if a pot full of hot water has enough heat under it no amount of staring can disrupt the physics, it will boil. I agree that you shouldn't just sit around waiting for the UPS man to come or just stare at a pot waiting for it to boil, we are to use our time wisely, but too many people go too far to the opposite and pretend like getting married doesn't matter to them. If it is a desire God has written on your heart it is a good thing, it should not consume your life while He works out the details, but I do not think it should be completely ignored either. I have more to say on that, but I will save it for tonight and write a post about it.
THUS! If you are in a social vacuum, you will never find the right person no mater how passionate you are.
Oh and the "crap" pun made me laugh out loud here at work :P
