some days LA is stupid

It's snowing in Omaha today. And here it will almost reach 90. I'm wearing flip flops right now and I'm not one of these people who wear sandals regardless of the weather. I believe in utilizing proper footwear. It's the middle of November. How terribly sad. I liked it better on Saturday night when it was freezing as we left Mike's house. Where did that weather go? I hope it finds it's way back here quickly.

I'm not in the greatest mood today. Tuesdays seem to have the uncanny ability to suck all day long, probably in an effort to balance out the goodness of Taco Night and Gilmore Girls. Stupid balance.

Azina-
It's snowing here, yep. And it sucks a whole lot! Wish I was out there with you today, I'll take 90 and flip flops over 30 degrees, winds and snow all day. Oh, the joys of being back in the midwest!

oh jessica, you say you would switch, but trust me I doubt that is true.... Azina, it is gross here in Texas too...unseasonably gross...a cool front just blew through but i doubt it will stay in the sixties tomorrow...

Jessica you commented! :)

I guess the grass is always greener . . . or whiter as it were. I definitely don't miss the freezing cold, but a little snow would be nice.

Shauna are you going to be in town on a Tuesday? Well even if you aren't we should pretend it is Tuesday and go to Del Taco and then watch some Gilmore Girls if we get to hang out. I hope we do. I even promise to take you to Priscilla's! I love you too my friend!

And then there are the places that have normal seasons at normal times.

Sometimes I come around a corner and think "That'd make a great postcard," or "I've seen that in a movie before." And then I realize, "And I live here."

It's just one more reason, Azina, to move to Seattle: crisp, foggy, starlit November nights. And Autumnal storms. The clouds were so dramatic tonight when the moon came up. But I won't build it up too much, because it has it's downsides, and I don't want your expectations too high.

The downsides being rain, rain, rain, and oh yeah, rain. :)

Oh yes. It rains here all the time. Every day of the year. If you're considering moving to Seattle, don't. It's not worth it. Rain rain rain, traffic traffic, oh and rain. Always gray. Tacoma has the most suicides per capita blah blah blah (like 4 a year). It's an awful place to live. Move to California. You'll like it there.

Jennifer, don't take Galen too seriously. He's part of a secret mob whose goal is to brainwash people that Seattle is the greatest place in the history of the universe. Clearly he takes the issue a little too personally. ;P

...wait...seattle's not the greatest city in the history of the universe?...
